Saumen Chattopadhyay is a visionary leader in investment management, with a nearly three-decade track record of building and transforming multi-billion dollar investment platforms. Currently, he serves as Head of Portfolio Solutions at Harbor Capital Advisors, where he leverages his pioneering approach to custom portfolio solutions to deliver exceptional results for clients.

Most recently, Saumen was Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of OneDigital Investment Advisors, where he oversaw the growth of a $115 billion investment platform and led a team of 10 investment professionals. His tenure as CIO has spanned several firms, including Carson Group, Convex Capital Management, and Jackson National Asset Management. Saumen began his investment career as a key member of Harbor's Investment Team, where he spent nearly a decade through 2010.

Saumen is renowned for his innovative approach to portfolio solutions, including behaviorally aligned investment models and one-stop model portfolios blending private alternatives with public market investments. His unique research approaches and deep analytical and model building skills have earned him recognition as a thought leader in the industry.

A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Saumen holds a Masters from the University of Calcutta and an MBA in Finance from the University of Toledo. He is a CFA charterholder and has served on advisory boards for companies like iCapital and Cohen & Steers.

Outside of finance, Saumen is an avid hiker and a serious amateur photographer. He lives in Chicago with his wife, and his daughter is a young attorney at a noted big law firm.
