Tim Krochuk

Tim is an owner and member of the Management Board of Shepherd Kaplan Krochuk, a $9B wealth management firm based in Boston. He is co-Head of Alternative Investments for the Firm’s Asset Management Division, with over 32 years of experience in investment research and management. He is also Chief Executive Officer and director of Trellis Software, Inc., which is developing software systems for financial service firms and investors.

He was previously a portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for the development, programming and implementation of investment models used in managing over $20 billion in public mutual funds—some of the first to use artificial intelligence in the investment process.

Tim is an experienced programmer and systems administrator, having started his first technology company at the age of 13. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and serves on the board of, or in an advisory capacity to, several private companies in the United States and Dubai. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Tim holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College.
