After completing her bachelor’s degree program from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, Cristina Tamayo returned to her home of Puerto Rico to pursue her J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Then, several years ago, she decided to make a significant career switch, leaving her job as a lawyer to pursue a career in the entrepreneurship world. That initial leap led her to parallel18, a global startup accelerator, where she served as Business Development Manager for almost five years. Little did she know that this experience would ignite a deep passion within her for the startup ecosystem. Now leading Endeavor’s Puerto Rico office, Cristina Tamayo’s mission is to inspire high-growth entrepreneurs to envision grander dreams, her main goal is to cultivate a vibrant community of entrepreneurs that, once they achieve success, want to give back and amplify their impact.
